Snorkeling Silfra Golden Circle is a day tour from Reykjavik. We offer daily tours to Silfra where you get the chance to snorkel between the two continental plates the North American and Eurasian whilst enjoying the clarity of the water in Silfra We pick you up at your hotel and drive you to Thingvellir National Park. The drive takes about 1 hour and when we arrive your guide will give you information about the history of the UNESCO world heritage site Thingvellir. When you arrive at Silfra you will be given a thermal undergarment (Teddy bear suit) and dry suit with snorkeling equipment (all of our snorkeling equipment is well maintained and top of the line) The guide will show you how to use the equipment to ensure a pleasant snorkeling trip we will then gently float down the four main parts of silfra the Big Crack,silfra hall, the Cathedral and finally the silfra lagoon. Snorkeling Silfra & Golden Circle is a combination of two of the most popular tours in Iceland.

Once you are picked up from your hotel, your driver/guide will driver you to Thingvellir National Park in a 4×4 jeep (about 1 hour away). Once you arrive, your guide will give you information about the history of UNESCO-protected Thingvellir.
After the snorkelling tour you will explore Thingvellir National Park, and then head to the famous hot-spring Geysir and its area created by earth-quakes. You will get a chance to see the nearby geyser Strokkur, which erupts much more frequently than Geysir. After exploring the geyser area, you will take a lunch break, before heading to the nearby Gullfoss (Golden Falls) waterfall there you are given the opportunity to stand next to one off the most beautiful waterfalls in Europe.

There are not enough stars for this trip. Just do it!! Don't be afraid of the temps. We went in water that was 38 degrees Fahrenheit and only our pointer fingers felt it. The tour of the Golden Circle is fantastic. Sigrun and Val are this tour's owner/operators. They are WONDERFUL! I wish them the greatest success.

This tour made our holiday, the snorkeling and safety tips were very useful and put us at ease. Both the snorkeling guide and helper were fantastic throughout. The lady who drove us around the Golden Circle could not have done anymore for us. We are so thankful to have booked with this company!

BEST DAY I SPENT IN ICELAND!!! I was nervous about snorkeling.. it was like 18 degrees, after all.. but Val and Sigrun were the greatest. The snorkeling was absolutely beautiful, and not too cold once you get used to the water. you will be singing i can't feel may face when I'm with you.. They gave us cocoa and cookies after, so I was quite pleased : After snorkeling, they took us to gullfoss and the geysirs and one more waterfall. All were amazing. Absolutely breathtaking. In the winter, everything is frozen over, but the water is still flowing. Incredible. We also ate some great lunch and learned about sheep, horses, and what it is like to live in Iceland. We got to do this tour with just our group, which was nice. We got to know our guides well, and it felt like going out with friends, instead of piling onto a greyhound with 20 like a herd of sheep. I really appreciated their kindness and fun-ness. I HIGHLY recommend this tour with these guides. Make sure it is Val and Sigrun!!!!
